Role Summary

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to accelerate our product development. You'll work on some of the most difficult problems in the field - we don't expect you to be an expert on everything, but we do expect you to learn fast and take a lead.

Your responsibilities will range from writing code to gathering user feedback, all the way to designing entire workflows. You'll become an expert in data science tooling and we'll trust you to make the call which technologies we use and which features we implement.

What you'll work on:

• Build new features across everything from the backend logic to UI components.
• Work on our real-time collaborative experience in different parts of the application.
• Improve the rendering performance by working with virtualization and memoized components.
• Learn about data science tools and form opinions that will ultimately drive the product.
• Support our community of data scientists and developers and help them succeed using Deepnote.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Part of a team where you built complex web applications in TypeScript and React.
• Solid understanding of backend and database technologies. This means that you are comfortable owning and work on a feature end-to-end on both its frontend and backend parts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with working with designers through Figma.
• Experience in data analysis and/or data science.
• Worked on notebooks, visualizations, BI tools, or data pipelines
